Refund and Returns Policy

Effective Date: 2/10/2000

Because LGD dogs are living animals, refunds are limited.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. They compensate for time, care, and reserved placement.

Puppy Purchase

Full payment is due before transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once the puppy leaves TGIA Farms property, all responsibility transfers to the buyer.

Health-Related Returns

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening congenital condition within [72 hours] of transfer, documentation must be provided immediately.

If verified, TGIA Farms may offer:

• Replacement puppy (when available), or
• Partial refund at breeder’s discretion

Veterinary costs are not reimbursed unless agreed in writing.

Behavioral Returns

Guarding behavior, barking, roaming tendencies, and territorial responses are normal traits of livestock guardian dogs and are not grounds for refund.

Training Fees

Training services are non-refundable once completed.

Voluntary Surrender

If a buyer can no longer keep the dog, TGIA Farms requests first right of refusal before rehoming. Rehoming assistance may be offered at breeder discretion.
